Ljubo Majstorovic invented to use a delay for certain frequencies to make the piezo pickups sound less “plastic”.
we discovered that wood does the same and spreads the overly hard attacks, to avoid clipping and agressivity.
Rolf Spuler turned it into the original wooDI in 2005 which is still available and loved especially by classical guitar players.
a smaller version he built into all Paradis Guitars.
and now is available also for all Polybass!
totally easy to add, just remove a jumper and connect it!
for the older Polybass serial nr < R-0170 or <P-0040 please use this previous version
with a little ability you can also wire the wooDi-M into any other equipment, we can help.
if you do not like it enough (depending on playing style and amplification, the result can be subtle or important), you can return it and replace it with a jumper (included in the package).
