this is what you need to make your original Avalon+Polysubbass “MIDI compatible”. we do not like this expression since in reality it only sends separate signals of each string through the 13pin DIN connector – which can feed a Guitar2Midi converter, but you can do a lot more with it:
\nGuitar-Synths work better than MIDI because they are not limited to NoteOn-NoteOff commands.
\nThere are plenty guitar effects that work a lot better when they receive each string separate.

How to use this product:
\neither you cut the flat cable near the back Neutricon and press a 8 or 10 pin IDC female connector to it, or you replace the complete flat cable (probably because you upgrade to the newer Neutricon<\/a>).<\/p>\n

this Output board is specifically made to bring Roland 13pin DIN GK COSM V-Guitar compatibility the 1990-95 Polysubbass 19″ units. It replace the Neutricon connector on the back.<\/p>\n

they include a level adapter for each string and allow to solder the PBass signal (or whatever you want) to pin 7<\/p>\n

you can also wire GK Vol to it.<\/p>\n
