Paradis has made this kind of pickup in brass since 1984, but in 2011, Rolf made a big effort to creat a mold to make them smarter and smaller than brass could be. its an electrically conductive plastic so its perfectly shielded.<\/p>\n

\na heavy bang on the string like when the guitar drops can break the piezo. to make it more solid, we would have to stiffen and use heavier material which would influence on sound.<\/p>\n
the last 3 files in the galery were create by Rolf. the tube coming out under the pickup is obsolete, he did not add it himself in the end.<\/p>\n
