Description
The Polysubbass which came with the Paradis Avalon guitars between 1990 and 1995 had a stereo output with fixed paning.
Its beautiful to spread the strings in space. instead of using a chorus effect which brings a constant movement (and noise), this effect is stable and steady, yet open and large.
Especially interesting when not many other instruments are available, for example the voice in the center and the strings around it…
Polypan contains
- Pan for each sting, controllable with a slider and the button in the lower right corner
- 7th channel for 7 string guitars or paning additional pickups and effects coming on pin7 (GTR) of the 13pin DIN or pin7 (String 7), pin8 (GTR) or pin9 (AUX) of the 16pin LEMO.
- 2 volume sliders: on the left for a mono pickup or microphone, on the right for the stereo mix of the hex pickup
- stereo wooDI-M attack smoother (as built into the 2005-2015 Spuler Paradis guitars). switchable with the button on the left
- 13pin DIN or 16pin LEMO input from a guitar with split strings like Godin Multiac or Roland GK
- 1/4″ jack outputs for the mixed signal (2 mono or 1 stereo)
- 2 1/4″ jack can be Outputs or Inserts for the GTR and AUX signals
- DC 15V power supply is included
- 13pin DIN or 16pin LEMO output to Roland GK synth or 6Appeal etc, the box can also be supplied from this output.
- the two buttons can be switched to do the GK functions Up/Dn = S1/S2 (instead of wooDI/Mono)
