Diguit by Rolf Spuler with new Polybass

this comes closest to a standard electric guitar but its still pretty different, mainly due to the piezo pickup, Polybass and 13pin output:

  • magnetic pickup of your choice (a dummy on the picture, Heussel can make those orange ones)
  • Polybass and optional wooDI
  • big controls, can stand out or flush inset: Magnetic Volume, Piezo Volume, Bass, GK Volume, GK Up/Dn switch
  • Bourns potentiometers
  • Gotoh tuners

its a solid body instrument with a japanese neck, but fully Paradis Hexaphonic and featuring a very special look, so EUR 3000 feels like a fair price

Rolf prepared 4 of those solid body guitars about 2006 for the promissing built-in Terratec firewire+midi hardware. since firewire was outdated soon afterwards and Terratec closed, the guitars were not finished and Heinz and me modified them by adding the big knobs and a plexi back cover (instead of the original metal cover with slits). unfortunately, the paint suffered in some corners and only one of the guitar was sold with the original finish, the others need to be at least partly re-painted. we think it looks nicer with a dark green on top and bottom, leaving the headstock and the horns red. but you can still choose the color you would like!
