this Ouput board brings Roland 13pin DIN GK COSM V-Guitar compatibility
+ two 1/4″ jacks which can be configured for several output signals like

  • one for passive magnetic pickups and the other for full mix, or
  • one for PBass suboctave (to a subwoofer) and the other for the rest of the mix.

a Ribbon flat cable is included (please indicate desired length)

Description

this is what you need to make your guitar “MIDI compatible”. we do not like this expression since in reality it only means that the signals of each string is coming out of the instrument through the 13pin DIN connector. you can use this to connect a Guitar2Midi converter, but you can do a lot more with it. GuitarSynth work better than MIDI because they are not limited to NoteOn-NoteOff commands. and there are plenty guitar effects that work a lot better when they receive each string separate. http://hexaphonic.org
